Capital Gain Bonds, commonly issued under applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act, allow eligible taxpayers to invest capital gains arising from certain asset sales in order to claim available tax benefits. These bonds are issued by authorised institutions and have mandatory lock-in periods specified under prevailing tax regulations.
